Catullus – Network and Shared Media Indexer
Catullus would scrape the available SAMBA shares within a pre-defined network for video media files. It would store a list of known files in a database allowing for quick searching. Movies would have their file names compared against the IMDb titles to download more meta data for each of the movies eventually allowing them to be searched by Title, Actor, Year, and even play time.

Winter Camp Registration and Networking
Implemented and modified current open-source School Management software for rapid electronic student registration for Merit Badge classes. Camp only lasts 5 days, registration itself is only a few hours. The system had to be mobile with a quick setup/takedown with no permanent or lasting infrastructure. A Virtual Machine server running on a laptop with a wireless router running 3rd-Party Firmware for advanced routing needs was implemented. Further more, internet needed to be provided for the running of the camp. With long-range wireless internet radios already in place, a temporary infrastructure had to be built around an existing one to meet the needs of the camp in the short term of camp including wireless bridges and long cable runs.

Kitchen PC
The Kitchen PC was a computer built into a custom case that was used in the Kitchen of an apartment. Allowed one to access Recipes, unit conversion, and communications utilities to create a good meal. With real-time collaboration between roommates to decide on food choices while not even in the apartment. Allowed the cook to ask someone to pick up items on their way home. Could store a database of current items in the pantry and refrigerator, and would keep track of expiration dates on food. If printer available, it could conceivably print out Grocery Lists on demand.
